Stylish and Beautiful Bicycle Pedals

The sand-paper traction on these pedals makes them great for urban riding year round, wet or dry. For traction the sandpaper beats the heck out bumpy plastic or metal pedals, or old-style "rat trap" pedal -- wet or dry. I'm in Seattle and ride all winter so I know about wet.

Sure, on a modern MTB pedal with my Five-Ten mountain bike shoes I have better grip but I am going to be wearing street shoes in town. Plus I don't really want to tear up my long pants on the studs if I come off the pedals by accident. Bloody shins anyone?

There is definitely nothing fancy about these pedals at all and I have no idea how long they're going to last. They've been on my Vado ebike for maybe 1500 miles. But I seriously don't understand why there aren't a whole lot more like this available. The first set like these I had were the demo pedals on some bike, and I realized I liked them better than all the other options so I got more. They work great.

Great option if you don’t want click in pedals. Good quality. Install with box wrench or Allen wrench.

If you've ever mis-shifted and slipped off a pedal, this is the right upgrade. The undersized, plastic things that I had on my bike were no comparison. I did scrape one of these cornering on a road surface, and though you can see it if you look close, no real damage. The color is like in the photos, and the weight is in the description. They're not super lightweight, but I like it. The pins bite well into my trainers, and leave no marks after the ride.

This is a nice, light-weight bike pedal. It is easy to instal and it also does not damage your soles, like some other pedals do. But unfortunately, the thread that you screw into the bike seems also made of plastic. This is where they should have used some metal, as it is under constant stress. I hope it is not a predetermined breaking point for planned obsolescence...
